Let's chat about the order of service.

The order of service booklet, generally handed out to guests by your ushers upon arrival, serves as a timeline and let’s people know what they should expect during the ceremony.

At a minimum, they usually include the names of the happy couple, the wedding date, a list of the bridal party, an order of ceremony and a thank you to those involved in the day. It can also be nice to include wording for any songs, hymns, readings or prayers for your guests to follow along.

Personally, I LOVE when the couple finishes off their booklet with a nice romantic quote, to really set the tone for the rest of the day.

Order of service booklets can vary from a folded card style with just two inside pages, to an actual booklet with 8 or more pages.

Page quantity very much depends on the type of ceremony you’ll be having, for example, a civil or Christian ceremony will generally have much less wording than a Catholic ceremony (although not always!)

I absolutely loved these folded card style order of service booklets created created earlier this year for Rhiannon & Simon and Emma & Peter - simply stunning. Both were printed to the highest quality in pink floral designs to tie in with the rest of their wedding signage.

If you’d like to add a little touch of MAGIC to your wedding day with my beautiful stationery and signage, fill in my enquiry form and I will be in touch shortly with my pricing and availability.
